Lover, fighter, observer of the absurd, town crier, bully slayer, dismantler of professionalism, singer, player, painter, writer, composer, community-land-trust-maker, inventor, power to the peopler, but above all: adventurer. (Unfortunately I am also: killer-by-way-of-war-taxes, crude oil-consumer, begrudging participator in economic hegemony, combustible engine user, workaholic, and, I think, relatively sleep-deprived). My band is Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. We operate a 501c3 called Big Sun, newly dedicated to helping people form and build community land trusts. I founded a nascent movement called 2nd Government. I invented The New IRS (thenewirs.com). I won a Golden Globe this year for best original score. I am finishing a book this summer called Kingdom Cool, a study of our modern culture. I have a beautiful amazing mind blastingly wonderous daughter names Eartha and partner named Roehm. That's more or less my version of me today.

Michael Rosenblatt is a legendary A&R music executive with over 30 years in the industry, and who discovered Madonna, Depeche Mode, B-52s and many more. Michael has worked for several high-profile recording companies including MCA Records, Geffen Records, Extasy Records and Sire Records. For the past 10 years Michael has been doing independent artist management for various artists, and is responsible for artist management, showcase planning and coordination, marketing and promotional work, artist branding, working with record company personnel, interface with licensing companies and artist relations.

Steven Weinglass was born and raised in New Jersey, and began performing music professionally at the age of 16. His first performances were at the Jersey shore. Mr. Weinglass studied at Berklee College of Music and became bassist/vocalist and music director for such acts as; Shirley Alston Reeves of the Shirelles, The Four Tops, Bill Haley’s Comets, Crosswind, Restless, Michael and the Little Professors, among many others. During his teens he was deeply influenced by his brother's work in the peace movement of the Sixties who went on to defend The Chicago 8, The Pentagon Papers' Daniel Elsberg, Jane Fonda, and most recently, The Cuban 5. In recent years, Mr. Weinglass has become a music supervisor on film, produced music and had his songs placed in TV shows. Currently he has come back to his roots and is out performing music again. Mr. Weinglass is also serving as Commissioner of The Public Works Dept. for the city of Beverly Hills, CA., and has served on that commission for the past four years (serving the last year as the Chairman).
