Joining Forces to Support Veterans with Mind Body Therapies: Coming Home Again
Patricia Lillis MD, MPH, E-RYT spent 32 years in the Army Medical department as an Oncologist, ending her career having served both as a medical Commander in Iraq and working for the Army Surgeon General. A Kripalu certified yoga instructor, she is also well versed in Complementary Medicine. Her combat experience in Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as the care of wounded veterans led her to co-found the now non-profit Warriors at Ease and serve as its first President. The organization has taught over 500 Yoga and Meditation teachers in at least seven different countries to work with their Veterans with PTSD, Traumatic Brain injuries and other War Wounds. Pat's focus is on the healing process within the individual and assisting with program development.
