The Power of Meditation and Breath Work to Create True Peace
Kia will share her story of working as an activist (it was born from witnessing war first hand in the Falkland Islands in 1982) and why she chose Yoga and Meditation as her ultimate path towards peace. She will discuss yoga as a tool to release trauma and to stabilize our energy, create a connection between breath and mind, and tried and tested breath techniques to build vitality, increase longevity, and to help re-pattern the mind. Peace has to start on the individual level, with observing where we are being violent with ourselves, in our thoughts and unconscious actions.
Kia Miller is one of the most well-known Kundalini teachers in the West. Kia has an ability to translate the subtle teachings of Kundalini Yoga in a highly accessible way. Kia's study of yoga began when she was 15. She is certified in both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and teaches workshops, retreats and teacher trainings throughout the world.
