Flor Gonzales grew up in Los Angeles in a neighborhood filled with violence. Flor participated in SEA's Youth Peace Movement and became a peacebuilder working in her community. Flor then traveled to D.R. Congo to learn about peace efforts there. From the trip to Congo, Flor became inspired to continue her education and is now a student at Los Angeles College with ambitions of working with Doctors Without Borders.
