Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Got my teaching degree and a masters in Creation Spirituality. Later went to Peru as a missionary for 22 years served and lived among poor farmers in Ica and helped form agrarian cooperatives, later moved to the Amazon and helped the natives form a high school for their youth and the Ahuarunas, and then lived in Moho, in the Andes. came back to the US in 1989 and started to work for Soledad Enrichment Action, a non-profit agency that works with high risk youth and their families in Los Angeles, Ca. During this time, the "Youth Peace Movement" and the "Young Peace Ambassadors" has evolved and florished as our youth use their personal violent stories as a launching pad to become PeaceMakers.
