Sebastian Robertson is a social entrepreneur with an economics and finance background and the founder and CEO of Batyr, an organization targeting preventative mental health education in young people.  Batyr seeks to give a voice to the ‘elephant in the room’ of Australia’s schools and universities. In his own words Sebastian is “encouraging young people to speak out and openly discuss issues that so many face but so few seek help about.”  The decision to pursue Batyr was based on a passion to engage, education and empower young people to confront difficult social issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders and bullying.  Batyr’s aim is to foster an environment where seeking help and talking about mental health is not only acceptable but is encouraged and supported.
