The Power of Meditation and Breath Work to Create True Peace
Kia will share her story of working as an activist (it was born from witnessing war first hand in the Falkland Islands in 1982) and why she chose Yoga and Meditation as her ultimate path towards peace. She will discuss yoga as a tool to release trauma and to stabilize our energy, create a connection between breath and mind, and tried and tested breath techniques to build vitality, increase longevity, and to help re-pattern the mind. Peace has to start on the individual level, with observing where we are being violent with ourselves, in our thoughts and unconscious actions.
Kia Miller, an internationally celebrated yoga teacher, is the founder of Radiant Body Yoga, a holistic approach that honors the healing and transformational potential within yoga. She’s known for sharing her wonderful passion for life and wellbeing in her teaching. Kia views the science and spirituality of yoga as a pathway to experiencing peak performance and great awareness. Her mission is to inspire and awaken as many people as possible to their own power and creative potential. Kia leads workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings throughout the world.
