John Horgan is a bestselling science author, columnist for BBC Knowledge Magazine and Scientific American online and Director of the Center for Science Writings at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. His latest book is The End of War, published in 2012, which he has discussed on MSNBC and NPR and at Columbia, Rutgers, NYU and other institutions. His honors include the Science Journalism Award of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Association of Science Writers Science-in-Society Award.
