As a nationally recognized leader, Vinny Ferraro will explore the intersection of Mindfulness and at-risk youth. He’ll talk about his own personal healing journey that led him to become a mindfulness teacher supporting populations that are often under-served. He’ll offer practical advice on how to build authentic relationships and safe containers that support at-risk youth in their personal transformation.

Vinny Ferraro is on the Senior Faculty for Mindful Schools in Oakland and he’s the Guiding Teacher for Against the Stream Meditation Society San Francisco. He’s a nationally recognized leader in designing and implementing interventions for at-risk youth. His experience includes teaching emotional intelligence and mindfulness workshops, to more than 100,000 youth, and the adults that work with them. Vinny focuses his efforts on working with high risk and incarcerated populations, and doesn’t like talking about himself in the 3rd person.
