Spirituality Peace Sunday Cultivating Inner Peace and the World Wide Prayer Circle
Paramahansa Yogananda once said, “Most men consider the course of events as natural and inevitable. They little know what radical changes are possible through prayer.” In 1920, Yogananda introduced Kriya Yoga, a scientific method of meditation, to the West. He also created a World Wide Prayer Circle that has been sending prayers and healing energies to people around the world for decades. Sister Draupadi has been in the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) monastic community, established by Paramahansa Yogananda, for more than 40 years. She will share insights from Yogananda about the power of prayer and meditation and then lead us in a guided meditation focused on peace and healing.
