Program Manager of the Longmont Community Justice Partnership's Restorative Practices

Laura Snider currently works as the program manager of the Longmont Community Justice Partnership's Restorative Practices in Schools Program that provides youth-led restorative processes to address the full spectrum of crime and conflict in their schools as well as training and technical assistance for school personnel throughout the school district. Laura graduated from the Kroc Institute at the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in International Peace Studies in 2010. She has spent time working with various vulnerable populations including traumatized children, people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health patients, and at-risk youth. Her interest in youth empowerment through restorative practices stems from working with children with attachment disorders and believing that teenagers can be effective agents of change in their social landscape.
