Educator, bestselling author, speaker, and award-winning innovator Rita Marie Johnson has a personal mission: eliminate unnecessary suffering and enrich life for people of all ages and from all walks of life. She has been sharing her message and her method worldwide for over a decade. The BePeace Practice she pioneered brought her the Ashoka Changemakers Innovation Award, chosen from 79 projects in 32 countries. Now the practice has impacted over 40,000 students in Costa Rica. In 2010, Johnson began teaching the Connection Practice Foundations Course at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace, a graduate school for international leaders. She serves as CEO of Rasur Foundation International (RFI). Her latest book, Completely Connected: Uniting Our Empathy and Insight for Extraordinary Results, was released in March 2015 and reached #2 on the bestseller list in the Conflict Resolution and Mediation category.
