First Non-Japanese Chairman of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation
After ten years of family therapy, then 12 years of management consulting, Steve Leeper suddenly became a peace activist in 1998. He co-founded Global Peacemakers Association in Hiroshima 1999, and founded Global Peacemakers Association in Atlanta in 2001. In 2003, he began working fulltime for Mayors for Peace, and was appointed chairman of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation in 2007.
